This is your introduction to stand up comedy! In this 3 hour workshop students of all experience levels will learn stand up comedy writing including joke structure and performance techniques with the goal of becoming confident and comfortable on stage. This class is specially tailored towards both beginning comics who want to learn where to begin and professionals who want to brush up on the basic fundamentals of stand-up comedy in a fun, safe environment! By the end of this class you’ll have gotten on stage and have a foundation from which to build. In this class you’ll learn the following:

Instructor-
Richy Leis has been producing and performing in comedy shows for 20 years. Richy is the Creative Director for Comic Cure producing shows from Los Angeles to NYC to Fla with some of the biggest names in comedy such as Dana Carvey (SNL), Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Tome Machine), Kate Flannery (The Office), David Koechner (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) and many more.
