It’s 2021 – Do something new. Let’s try stand up comedy!
Ever wanted to try stand-up comedy but didn’t know where to begin? Does the thought of jumping on stage in front of a live crowd intimidate you? Do you just want to become a better public speaker for your day job? Or maybe you just want to meet some cool people and get out one night a week.
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Orlando Improv Comedy Classes are for you!
THE INFO IN A NUTSHELL:
Comedy Classes at The Orlando Improv are an eight-week course and will be on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
We study joke structure, play writing games, play act out games, build up our five minute sets for the graduation show and also have touring professionals come in to give lessons and answer questions.
We end our semester with a graduation show right on the main stage at The Improv in front of a full crowd.
The semester is only $250 and can be paid in cash, over CashApp, Venmo, PayPal or with a check. Payment is due before the semester starts. You’ll also have free admission into select shows for you and your friends while in the class.
LIMIT 15 STUDENTS PER SEMESTER.
Past students have gone on to MTV’s Wild-n-Out, acquired over one million subscribers on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and opened for some of the biggest names on the circuit.
The stand-up comedy classes are led by international comedian Carmen Vallone who has been in the business for 16 years. Carmen has toured all around America, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and has shared the stage with Joan Rivers, Andrew Dice Clay, and Larry the Cable Guy just to name a few. He’s filmed a TV pilot, had his own show at The Comedy Store in LA, and is a recurring Christmas character on the radio.
We study comedy from some of the best sources in the business! Including Greg Dean, Steve Martin’s Master Class, Phyllis Diller and how she got into the Guinness Book of World Records, and the number one selling ‘how to’ comedy book, The Comedy Bible.
