His critically acclaimed debut novel Running the Light – heralded as the “definitive novel about stand up comedy” (Marc Maron\, WTF) – was published by Too Big to Fail Press in 2020 and his short fiction has been published on VICE.com and in BIRDY magazine. He was voted Inland NW’s Best Comic of 2019\, and has worked with such comics as Whitney Cummings\, Tom Arnold\, Jamie Kennedy\, Carlos Mencia\, and more.  Growing up in a Latino household in South Central L.A. before moving to the Northwest\, Deece combines big city energy with small town charm\, creating a lovable\, biting\, and sarcastic comedic style.  He’s the future Mayor of Spokan\, WA\, and his favorite movie is Snow Dogs.
